MUSIC
The Asian Modern Symphony Orchestra (AMSO) is founded by Wilson Ng. Featuring maverick Hong Kong pianist Wong KaJeng , this performance not only continues the celebration of the AMSO’s debut in July 2025, but also reinforces the artistic collaboration between Hong Kong and Korea. The orchestra’s repertoire will be a combination of classical music across different regions for audiences to experience the rich and vibrant works of Asian composers, alongside classic masterpieces that resonate with audiences worldwide.
The orchestra features leading Asian soloists and members who have performed with world-class ensembles and major philharmonic and symphony orchestras across Berlin, London, Seoul, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Incheon, Quebec, Bournemouth, and Thailand. The musicians speak Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, Malay, and Thai—yet music remains our shared language.
