This exhibition traces the evolution of Hong Kong comics from their origins in the early 1960s to the work of today’s most influential creators, highlighting the emergence of a distinctive local style. Explore a diverse array of genres—from satirical cartoons and humorous strips to slice-of-life stories and action-packed martial arts epics.

Presented by the Hong Kong Comics and Animation Federation, this exhibition invites visitors in Korea—comic enthusiasts and the general public alike—to immerse themselves in the rich history and captivating universe of Hong Kong comics.

Formerly known as Hong Kong Comics Federation Limited, Hong Kong Comics and Animation Federation Limited was founded in 1999. It strives to unite the comics and animation industry in promoting comics and animation culture, strengthen the initiative and awareness of the comics and animation community, connect industries around the world, as well as nurture local talent.
