Making Waves – Navigators of Hong Kong Cinema (Making Waves) 2025 is a touring film programme co-presented by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA) and the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society and financially supported by CCIDA. Since it first launched in 2022, Making Waves has already travelled to 24 international cities, showcasing the works of younger generation filmmakers in Hong Kong, as well as classics. Other than the specially curated film programme for the Seoul audience, the creative teams of some of the films will also be present to share their thoughts with the audience.

The Hong Kong International Film Festival Society (HKIFFS) is a charitable, non-profit and non-governmental organisation dedicated to the discovery and promotion of creativity in the art and culture of film.
