Programme Overview
Experience the beauty of Intangible Cultural Heritage through daily life
The exhibition showcases a number of Hong Kong's intangible cultural heritage (ICH) items from the perspective of a traveller journeying through the streets and alleys of Hong Kong from morning to night. ICH practitioners were specially invited to create new pieces for the exhibition. Additionally, contemporary Hong Kong artists were commissioned to create multimedia art, installation art and contemporary Guangcai porcelains. Through diverse perspectives, their works respond to the inheritance and innovation of Hong Kong's ICH, inviting the audience to discover how ICH integrates into contemporary life and evolves into a powerful force for art and culture.

HULU Culture
Hulu Culture Limited was established in 2009 as a non-profit cultural organization, with the mission of creating a local cultural platform. Through an interactive approach that combines tradition, art and design, it seeks to showcase Hong Kong’s unique cultural character while fostering public engagement. Through these activities, it also aims to deepen the public’s understanding of Hong Kong culture. In addition, Hulu Culture organises a variety of community-guided tours and activities that encourage people to walk through and interact with their surroundings. These initiatives aim to promote appreciation for diverse community values, help individuals find a sense of personal identity, and strengthen their sense of belonging to the city.
In recent years, intangible cultural heritage has received increasing attention, and young people are showing growing interest in traditional culture. In response, Hulu Culture, through various programmes, integrates its years of curatorial and event experience to promote Hong Kong’s intangible cultural heritage. Its tours take people from different areas through the city’s streets and alleyways, allowing them to learn about community history and discover the value of traditional intangible heritage. The company also encourages the development of creative industries and helps inspire the potential of the new generation. Guided by the influence of Chinese culture, it aims to contribute to the future of society.
Hulu Culture firmly believes that everyone can be a custodian and successor of culture and history, and that society has a responsibility to carry forward the spirit of humanity, as well as to preserve and showcase our valuable cultural heritage for future generations.
