Next Generation: Emerging Directors Exhibition & Hong Kong Film Gala Presentation is intended to promote film and cultural exchanges, allowing audiences to discover the rich and vibrant creativity of contemporary movies produced in Hong Kong. Screenings of recent Hong Kong films, for example, A Guilty Conscience, A Light Never Goes Out, Hong Kong Family and Over My Dead Body will be presented. Some directors will also attend the event and share the creative process of their films with local audiences.

The Emerging Directors Exhibition showcases exhibits including reconstructed scenes, props and set designs of Hong Kong films supported by the Film Development Fund, such as Lost Love, Sunshine of My Life and Mama's Affairs, presenting various Hong Kong characteristics and movie scenes.
